Lakhs of two wheelers, three wheelers(including fish cart), four wheelers(including bullock carts) to six wheelers on bad roads with bad lighting and traffic planning which in chennai is always in need of improvement. Yet the road users show scant regard for safety or road rules, whether they are educated or otherwise! Does responsibility lie only with the authorities?

Some say what's in a name..Others say it's all in the name. Whoever is right, I am sure you would be impressed if I said my name is Harry and not Hari; or if I would have been Vincent and not Venkatapatty. This recent music score I heard is fabulous..Was really impressed with Mr. Mallik's work until I heard a number of some phoren band- Beatles..Must have been very influential, what they made 40 years back is still played on our Indian roads in Hindi..No big deal, just that Mr. Mallik was influenced or say inspired as it did happen some 60 years back when we were declared independent and we were making our national policies..There are numerous examples of why we are so much better citizens and how good examples we are as patriots..We rename our cities to Mumbai and Chennai..Yes what do they think, we don’t have the brains to name our cities..Afterall, are we not the ones who coined Bollywood and Tollywood? Sounds like Hollywood? So what, just got inspired..Wish this inspiration was rooted a little deeper..I don't see when it comes to following traffic rules, or standing in a queue, or offering the seat to the old guy who has been standing quietly in the corner..Stumbled upon a site that somehow attempted to open our eyes..www.apnastandard.com..Dunno how much we would be influenced by it as in the same case of following traffic rules. But for sure we can see what their videos are about and if it rings a bell, may be start doing something..Some say something is better than nothing..
